John Atkinson is part of A W Hainsworth and Sons Ltd, a fully vertical textile manufacturer carrying out all processes from raw wool to finished cloth in-house in their own mill in West Yorkshire, UK.

Raw wool for blankets is carefully selected to ensure it delivers the right blend and ultimate quality in the finished product. The Hainsworth family has many years of expertise in selecting the most appropriate wools and they personally visit wool auctions across the world including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Hainsworths have a rich tradition of embracing and harnessing innovative technology to drive the quality and efficiency of our operation. Our mill is fully equipped with all the very latest machinery including the Tandem double cylinder raising machine and the Santa Lucia Tenter machine.
