Delivery of all stock is subject to availability. Orders will be processed and despatched within 28 days from receipt of order. Each and every blanket is lovingly bound, whipped, labelled and packaged by hand on receipt of order. Your patience enables us to ensure the highest of standards time after time.

The Albion throw is woven from the highest quality pure new wool and finished with fringing at either end. Woven in classic white with red and blue stripes that intersect in each corner, the Albion is a true celebration. Drape over the bed or sofa to add texture and a pop of colour to your home, and when the temperatures drop, curl up underneath to stay warm.
We carefully select only the best pure new wool for our Albion throws. The unique structure of wool has many inherent properties that cannot be replicated by any other natural or manmade fibre. Wool is highly durable, flame retardant, anti-static, hypoallergenic and temperature regulating. It is also natural and sustainable, as well as absorbing harmful pollutants from the air – it’s estimated that wool used in interiors can help purify the air for 30 years.
John Atkinson blankets and throws are manufactured at the historic Hainsworth Mill in West Yorkshire using skills passed down from generation to generation. Each throw is woven and hand finished by our team of dedicated experts and craftsmen who proudly produce the finest blankets in England. We blend the wool, spin the yarn and weave each blanket entirely in-house on the widest looms in the UK, ensuring a truly beautiful finish and size that no other mill can match.
