Each and every blanket is lovingly bound, whipped, labelled and packaged by hand on receipt of order. Your patience enables us to ensure the highest of standards time after time.

The Elizabeth is woven from 100% lambswool, a beautifully fine and silky wool taken from the first shearing of the sheep. Lambswool fibres are smooth and delicate, producing a blanket that is cosy and soft to the touch. Available in classic white and rich champagne, the Elizabeth is offered with a luxe velvet trim or traditional sating binding, allowing you to make the blanket your own.
John Atkinson blankets are manufactured at the historic Hainsworth Mill in West Yorkshire using skills passed down from generation to generation. Each blanket is woven and hand finished by our team of dedicated experts and craftsmen who proudly produce the finest blankets in England. We blend the wool, spin the yarn and weave each blanket entirely in-house on the widest looms in the UK, ensuring a truly beautiful finish and size that no other mill can match.

I went back to blankets in 2021 and I have to say that the blankets are wonderful . After a year I put them in the washing machine and they were fine. They regulate body heat so much better than a duvet.
